Cocoon Connect is an amazing new service from The London Ultrasound Centre that broadcasts your baby ultrasound images securely over the internet to third party.

Maybe your husband is working abroad, or you have expectant grandparents who can’t wait to see their grandchild? Perhaps your partner is unable to attend your appointment due to invalidity, or possibly your beloved is with the military stationed overseas?

Provided the remote party has a stable broadband internet connection they will be able to watch your scan images in real time and full screen.

Cocoon Connect utilises existing tried and tested software that runs on Windows PC, Apple Mac and Linux computer platforms and is free to download, register and use.

But it doesn't stop there. If the remote party has a PC with speakers or a headset and a microphone we are able to patch them through to the scan suite so they can hear and talk to you, and the sonographer or consultant!*

Cocoon Connect is ideal for 4D baby scans**, creating a unique opportunity for absent family or friends to participate in the joy of seeing your unborn baby, but is also equally convenient for regular 2D pregnancy scans.

Cocoon Connect is a secure one-to-one connection. Your images are only broadcast to a single computer. Other users are not able to see your baby or listen in on the conversation.
